What is hair transplantation?
Hair transplantation is done by a surgery, they move your hair to the areas that are more bald. It is mainly used by men that are noticing hair reducing on certain areas of their head. The first thing that will be done in the surgery is the cleaning of the head and also numbing it with injections. After that the doctor will use the method FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction).
The FUE method consist of three steps:
Step 1: cleaning the area where the follicles are going to be harvested, this includes also the numbing of the area with injections.
Step 2: Removing the follicular units (group of up to four).
Step 3: there are made little incisions on the bald area, and the follicular units are inserted into the little incisions.
Don’t worry if a couple of hairs still fall out, it is part of the process.
The recovery will take several hours up to several days, it depends on how much incisions there were made. Your head can be swollen for a couple of days, you could experience soreness or a small bit of pain. For those after effects, the doctor will prescribe you some medicine.
