A certification is a mark from an independent company which can be obtained by sufficing the standards of the certification. For example, the IMED clinics are TÜVRheinland certified. TÜV are German organizations that work to validate the safety of products of all kinds to protect humans and the environment against hazards. They certified IMED with ISO 9001, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001. The first two certifications mean that the company is able to consistently provide its product that meets customer and applicable satutory and regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customers satisfaction throuh the effective application of the system, including processes for concinual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. In short this means that the company is certified for its quiality of the manamgement system. The ISO 14001 certification means that the company is certified for environmental managemend. By this certification the environmental risks of running the company are controlled and if possible reduced.
Another clinic we are coöparating with is Nisa. Nisa is certified by Aenor and IQNet. Both of these certificaton indicate that the company is well managed and therefore, has a good managementsystem.
