CREA CENTRE

Valencia, - Spain

Not all assisted reproduction centers are equal, and that’s something to take into account when selecting the most appropriate. CREA is an assisted reproduction and fertility centre in Valencia, Spain, and a pioneer in patient care and high technology to treat sterility and infertility. Our clinic is one of the most modern, comfortable, and advanced in Europe in terms of functional design, technology, and equipment. Everything has been planned and designed so that our patients feel comfortable, safe, and are treated in the best manner possible. Our main objective is to offer quality care.

We understand quality as the power to offer the best results – to offer you the best chance of getting pregnant – by the easiest possible method in the context of individualized, personalized, direct attention, and safe treatment performed by people you can trust in to help you start a family, or solve your medical or fertility problem to give birth to a healthy boy or girl, by the easiest, most efficient, and safest method, based on a good medical diagnosis.

To ensure patient satisfaction, it is essential that the professionals who work with us also feel fully satisfied with what they do, and the means they have to do it. Over the years we have built a very solid foundation that has allowed us to grow and improve as a team and enhance our quality of care. In CREA we have a large staff of professionals dedicated exclusively to Reproductive Medicine. Our continous training programmes keep us up to date. For decades we have been actively participating in the field of reproductive medicine in Spain. We train biologists, biotechnologists, medical and paramedical staff. Through our own research we are recognized as pioneers and a reference in important fields such as genetic diagnosis, embryo culture in controlled hypoxia conditions, prevention of cell oxidation to improve the prognosis of pregnancy in cases of poor egg quality, as in the case of older women with low oocyte reserves, blastocyst culture, vitrification, the andrological study, and specific treatment of male infertility, the design of protocols for easy, safe and efficient ovarian stimulation, strict and secure egg donation and semen programmes.

At CREA our exceptional team is made up of nurses, biologists and doctors specialized in assisted reproduction. They are not only experts in their respective fields, but also incredible human beings who immensely enjoy working in this very special branch of medicine and biology. Our goal is to provide our patients with the best quality in everything we do.

OVODON

CREA aims for the highest quality in its Egg Donation programme which is anonymous. The selection of the donor is made by the medical team. We look after our donors as much as our patients. We select one donor for each recipient in order to obtain a good number of oocytes, thus improving the chances of success.

All of our donors are studied above and beyond any legal requirements to rule out sexually transmitted diseases and to take into account family history up to the third generation for genetic disorders that could be transmitted to descendents. Equally, all candidates undergo genetic screening to discard other genetic conditions of higher prevalence. Each donor is assessed by our Psychologist and examined by our Gynaecological Team.

Once a donor has been selected for a particular recipient, their menstrual cycles are synchronized so that the donor’s ovulation is stimulated while preparing the patient’s uterus. Oocytes recovered from the donor are inseminated with the semen from the recipient ́s partner. All Embryos obtained are incubated while carrying out an exhaustive follow up during the process.

Afterwards they will be transferred into the recipient ́s uterus or will be vitrified to be used in future cycle

The pre-implantation genetic diagnosis programme (PGD) consists of the genetic study of the embryos before being transferred to the uterus, with the aim of discarding those showing genetic abnormalities. With the PGD, a lot of numeric and chromosome structural abnormalities (Aneuploidy) can be ruled out – such as genetic mutations that can lead to monogenetic diseases that may be transmitted via the dominant-recessive way, or according to the gender of the future embryo.

At CREA, where quality excellence is a priority, we count on the collaboration of Sistemas Genomicos.S.L, who are pioneers in the latest advances in reproductive medicine and genetics and whose best professionals in these fields work closely with the CREA team.

Avoiding multiple pregnancies for those patients who do not wish it is one of our Clinic’s crucial goals. Blastocysts (the name an embryo receives in its most advanced phase of development) culture is an essential tool to achieve this and 70 per cent of the egg donations performed at CREA involve single-embryo transfer. For this we have a specifically adapted the embryology lab to a selective blastocyst culture programme that we also have an advanced embryos vitrification programme. At the same time the entire Clinic has established specific work guidelines aimed to obtain embryos with better implantation potential, which allow us to transfer one embryo and at the same time maintain high pregnancy rates.
